Annette Silvia Director, Early Access Programs

Annette is a seasoned pharmaceutical R&D professional with over 35 years of industry experience. She has led global clinical development programs across Phases 1–3 and Expanded Access Programs (EAPs) for both adult and pediatric populations. Her therapeutic expertise spans Oncology, Rare Diseases, Anti-infectives, Inflammation/Immunology, Dermatology, and Endocrine Disorders.

Annette is highly skilled in program management, end-to-end clinical operations, safety oversight, pharmacovigilance, clinical data management, process improvement, and patient engagement. She has participated in numerous regulatory submissions, including INDs, NDAs, MAAs, BLAs, and orphan drug applications.

Before joining Early Access Care, Annette served as a Senior Director and Oncology Clinician at Pfizer, where she contributed to a global hematology program. Her work included executing clinical trials with diverse treatment modalities and specialized endpoint assessments. She is particularly interested in innovative diagnostic and assessment technologies that improve patient outcomes.

Annette holds a Ph.D. in Public Health, Epidemiology from Walden University, an MSc in Pharmaceutical Medicine from Hibernia College, and a B.S. in Biology from Trinity College of Vermont. She is also a Registered Medical Technologist (MT-ASCP).

In addition to her dedication to expanded access and patient care, Annette is a passionate advocate for social justice, actively supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, particularly for the LGBTQ+ community and other marginalized groups.
